Felix Millan--1976
Felix Milan didn’t hit many long
balls, 22 to be exact, but he did set
the table for sluggers Hank Aaron
and Dave Kingman during his 12-
year career.

A two-time Gold Glover and three-
time All-Star, Milan annually walking
more than he struck out. He battled
pitchers, fanning just once every 24
at-bats during his career. He
battled St. Louis’ Ted Sizemore for
the National League lead in
sacrifice hits during an era when
bunting was a staple of the
manager's offensive attack.

The pesky second sacker was a
magician with the bat, even though
he only used half of it.
