Bruce Ellingsen-1975
The Indians acquired H. Bruce Ellingsen
from the Dodgers on April 3, 1974 for
Pedro Guerrero. Ellingsen pitched in 16
games for the Indians during his lone
season in the bigs. Guerrero went on to
be a five-time All-Star with Los Angeles
and St. Louis.

Is it any wonder why the Indians stunk in
the 1970s?

(of course, the Graig Nettles deal didn't
help either)

Editor's Note: And the "H." stood for
Harold. Come on--- HAROLD?? What we
find amusing is the Bruce dotted his "i"
with a circle and  the scripting of the "B"
and "E" have a peculiar look--- like that
of a certain male anatomy. Hmmm... this
is all very strange.
