over four seasons, we find it a bit
presumptuous to be striking such
an “angelic” pose.
Editor’s Note: Cowan did enjoy his
best days as an Angel, hitting .278
with 13 long balls while wearing a
halo. In all, the versatile outfielder
(he also played some infield spots
along the way) batted .236 during
his eight-year career.
