Bill Sudakis--1974
Bill Sudakis was a handy man to have
around. He could play first, third, catch
and roam both corners of the outfield,
while swinging from both sides of the
plate, sometimes as a DH. He could even
round out your bowling team if needed.

Of course, all of this led to Sudakis
moving from the Dodgers to the Mets,
Rangers, Yankees, Angels and Indians
all within eight seasons. Lugging an
equipment bag of gloves
and bowling
ball
throughout both leagues, Sudakis
would hit around .240 with 10 or more
homers when given consistent playing
time. Yet, aching knees limited his
availability at times during his career.

He would also find himself on “traded”
cards and subjected to moments of bad
airbrushing.
